Enfield No 4. MK I Long Branch, .303 British cal. military bolt action rifle. Serial #8AL7630, mfg. Canada in 1945. Matching bolt. 25" barrel has strong rifling with darkness and corrosion, fixed front and adjustable rear peep military sights. 75% blue military finish with general wear. Marked Long Branch on the receiver. Smooth wood top end and stock are very good with the usual wartime scattered hits and impressions Marked "JC22" and broad arrow on the bottom of the stock. Brass butt plate. Matching number blue metal magazine is in good shape. No visible import mark. Nice Long Branch WWII Enfield variation. C&R OK.
