Notably, it offers easy processing and boasts a remarkably smooth texture, making modelling a breeze.
Comprising 35% bio-based raw materials, this product has been certified as OK bio-based by TÜV Austria with a 1-star rating. It caters to a range of applications, including the enduring restoration of damaged and rotten wood in elements such as window frames, doors, stairs, and furniture. Its versatility extends to bonding and filling cracks, joints, nests, and open connections, as well as the renovation, restoration, and modelling of wooden structures and profiles, both indoors and outdoors.
Key characteristics of Repair Care Dry Flex Bio Flex Cool include its user-friendly and pleasant processing nature. It demonstrates a rapid drying time, allowing for sanding and painting at 15ºC after a mere 15 hours*. Its repairs are designed to be permanent, offering lasting recovery rather than temporary solutions. The resin's behaviour mimics that of wood, facilitating reworking and painting in the same manner while moving in harmony with the wood's natural movement.
Repair Care Dry Flex Bio Flex Cool's specified processing temperature range is 0 to 20ºC, catering to various conditions. Depending on temperature fluctuations, layer thickness, and humidity, the indicated curing time is provided as a reference for a repair with a 1 cm layer thickness at 10ºC. Lastly, the product's adaptability is showcased through its recommended repair thicknesses, ranging from 5 to 25 mm at 10 – 20ºC, and 5 to 50 mm at 0 – 10ºC.
